"How long does my heating and cooling equipment last?"
Generally, a forced-air furnace or A/C unit can last between 7-12 years. "Entry-level" products tend to have a shorter life span than premium products; like the old saying: "You get what you pay for." Annual maintenance also plays an important factor in the longevity of the appliance. If you buy the best furnance or A/C in the world, but don't take care of it, that will shorten the life of the equipment. The same holds true for A/C units. With proper maintenance, your A/C unit can last up to 15 + years.
There is also the efficiency factor. With utility costs always going up, sometimes it makes sense to upgrade for that reason. While annual maintenance does wonders to improve efficiency in older equipment, the efficiency will still decrease with age. Without annual maintenance, efficiency decreases rapidly.

Includes Energy Savings Agreement (ESA):
Thorough check and cleaning of your system in two scheduled trips per year (one in Spring and one in Fall). Discounted prices on parts while we are there. If there is a problem with the system between scheduled times, you will receive 15% discount for labor rates and parts. This could make a big difference if you have a major repair or system that needs replacing!
ESA customers will be 1st on the list to get us out (within 24 hours).
